Roof Edge Protection
Safe on flat roofs. Flexible, quick, and no tools required for installation.
The Dakrand 2000 consists of just a few specific components: 3-meter-long guardrail tubes with connecting pins, locking clips, and swivel guardrail frames with steel ballast blocks. The knee and hip railings are clicked into place at the correct height in the railing frames, which must be set up at a maximum distance of 3 meters from each other, using a simple locking system. It is possible to swing the railing post away if the work requires it.
The Custers Dakrand 2000 offers everything you could possibly want: simple, super-fast, compact, lightweight, robust, no tools required for installation, and surprisingly affordable!
✔ Minimal investment: one universal system for all possible situations
✔ Damage-free: snap-in claws for the handrails, so no plastic buttons
✔ Anti-rust steel ballast blocks, so no breakable concrete blocks
✔ Only 2 specific roof edge items: the all-in folding frame and the universal handrail tube
✔ 20 cm of free height directly under the frames, thanks to an ingenious folding mechanism
✔ Can be set up entirely without tools, so super fast!
✔ Nothing to do with the problematic idea of roller guides along (glass) facades
✔ This system fully complies with NEN-EN 13374 class A
✔ Fall protection must be used from a fall height of 2.50 m
✔ Handrails at 1 m and 0.5 m above the roof edge must be installed with spaces of up to 47 cm
Mobile Guard
Existing and new users
The Mobile Guard system is ideal for existing and new users and offers the safest and most transparent solution, as the floor is completely closed off every two meters and the familiar bracing pattern is maintained, with the associated flexibility to adapt the scaffolding to the working situation in the event of protruding facade sections, for example.
Temporary guardrail
During assembly, the Mobile Guard moves up to the highest level as a temporary guardrail and can be attached at the highest level as a hip guardrail instead of the horizontal rails.
